Trinity, in Christian doctrine, the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. The doctrine of the Trinity is considered to be one of the central Christian affirmations about God.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. While some Christans accept these as a definitive list of specific attributes, others understand them merely as examples of the Holy Spirit's work through the faithful.
The more you know the more you know you don't know as there are groups within christianity itself that do not believe in the Holy Trinity and they are called Nontrinitarianism.
Nontrinitarianism is a form of Christianity that rejects the mainstream Christian doctrine of the Trinity—the belief that God is three distinct hypostases or persons who are coeternal, coequal, and indivisibly united in one being, or essence.
I like the face but i don’t agree with the meaning of father son and the holy spirit. Where is the mother? So I went on to further research and discovered another meaning in a different context that makes sense to me. According to the Global Egyptian Museum, “Term used to refer to a group of three gods, usually organized into a family of father, mother and child. The desire to illustrate the comprehensiveness of the gods also played a role.'” (http://www.globalegyptianmuseum.org/glossary.aspx?id=378)
The idea of mother, father and child makes a better story. I found that Christianity differs from country to country and the stories are so inconsistent. Here in Jamaica we practice a very machesta or masculine type of christianity where the mother doesn't even exist. Sometimes I think that it is not a mystery at all why the men are so homopheobic and try so hard to prove their manhood by having as many women as possible and also to impregnate as many as they possibly can, generally speaking for those who don't understand life at all. I once heard on the street a man said to another that he was a “batty man” (gay) because he was a “one burna” (being faithful to one partner) and it made me understand so much better the subculture and stigmas attached to this topic. They don’t think about the “broken seeds” of broken homes in not having proper care for children.
Why plant your seed to its demise? It is a sin to do such a thing. I believe that children are the reincarnation of their parents and should be given a better life to improve and carry on the bloodlines legacy. In doing this we live eternally, I believe. Even the bible talks about this:
According to John, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” (1 John 5:11) also Corinthians, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
The bible is a work of the liberal arts and must be read with understanding and also it is written by humans so somethings we should question, I think.
This is my definition of Holy Trinity; Mother, Father and Holy Spirit for through the spiritual connection mother and father can create life, a child is born with love.
Affirmation: I stand up for myself by saying how I truly feel with kindness.
